when you have a lot of work to do.  I am in the last few days before I move, and so, I am not posting as much as I usually do.  Just a few comments. 

If you want to know what I am up to, check here.  My fan page is updated almost every day.

On Monday, I move to Florida.  I do not know how long before I have internet access so keep your eyes open.

Above all, live the day you have.  If you spend all your time looking ahead, you will not enjoy any of the moments you have now.  Enjoy now, look forward to the future and smile kindly on your past.

What does your environment say about you?

Is your environment making you think or cringe?  When you look at your room, do you feel peaceful or do you cry?

I am in the process of moving and am faced with this dilemma daily.  There are days when I just want to give up and torch the place.  Most of the time, I can’t bear to part with any of my belongings.  There are just so many of them. 

The situation is simple, it does not matter how much you love your stuff or not.  If it is cluttered, your brain does not function properly.  Your productivity suffers.  So what do you do?  If you are live in complete chaos, take it slow, but do it.  Take one corner of one room per day.  The next day take the next corner, in the same room.  Do not stop until you finish with that room and then go to the next room in the house.

If you are lucky enough to have people helping you, take advantage of them and know one room out per day.  Maybe pick one day per weekend to do it in. 

However you do it, give yourself a break.  Pat yourself in the back for getting something done every day and celebrate when you finish an area.  Just don’t buy anything that will clutter it up again.

On a beautiful, sunny Friday, I want to talk to you about one of the most important things you can do to enhance your life style:  R - E - L - A - X!!!! 

A lot has been written about the effects of stress on the body, the skin and the mind, everything from heart conditions to Alzheimer and cancer.  If stress has such effects on the body, the cure is simple, relaxation is key.

Easier said than done, you say?  Yes, I said it was simple, not easy.  There are ways that you can add some relaxation in to your life, or CHILLAX, like it is called in my house.  You can start the day with yoga or pilates, drive with soothing music in your car, read good books, meditate, dance…there are some of you that like the punching bag method, it does not matter how you de-stress, the important thing is that you do.

However, don’t stress over the method either.  If finding a way of relaxing is stressful to you, then we did not accomplish anything.  Sit down, take a few deep breaths with your eyes closed, think a happy thought and then move on to the next thing.  A few of those a day is better than not doing anything to de-stress.  Remember, at the end, you have to enjoy your life, in your terms.  Find what works for you and use it to the max.  Chillax!!!
